Our Educational Enrichment Program will focus on healthy choices that will enhance our girls’ emotional, spiritual and physical well being. Proper growth and development is essential. Need a solution to problems in school, home and abroad? Try Gems "God's Empowerment Model". Our focus will be teen moms ages 13-19. These teens will be referred to our organization by family, social workers and local middle and high schools. Our Organization will provide Christian counseling, abstinence programs, and sex education, nutritional and health classes, peer mentoring groups, and individual programs focused on their personal assessment needs. Other programs include nurse’s aide training by registered nurses, parenting classes, babysitting training, CPR, exercise, computer lab, and after school tutoring.

Our teens will give back to the community by volunteering at area assisted living facilities, nursing homes, family group homes, etc. We will provide well trained staff, such as nurses, faith based counseling and, teachers. Progression through the program will earn each girl a status of diamond and pearl. Program completion will earn each female a Gem for life. Gem status will give the unique young lady a peer mentoring status. We will offer referrals to other nonprofit organizations if after proper assessment we are unable to further accommodate or meet the teen needs.

We currently do not have a location; however, we are looking for a facility with a capacity of 20 to 35 individuals in the New Hanover county area. This location will need to have a computer room, mentoring room, training area, and office. Females will be referred to our program by parents, local schools, churches, and other social services in the area. Females will usually need our guidance due to some type of rebellion, be pregnant, have behavioral problems at home or school, etc. Our facility will be open from Monday through Friday. Times have not yet been determined.
